JM19 Road Race 2 - course map & profile

A terrific race, starting in the heart of Eildon and immediately climbing the 7km Skyline Rd to the top. Down again to UT Creek Road, heading West, then turning Left into Goulburn Valley Hwy for a short stint. Turn Right onto the pave of Mt Pleasant Rd, scramble to the top, and turn Left into Hobans Road, with expansive views of the Breakaway and it's lagoons. Easing up a bit to cross the old timber bridge fording the bubbling Goulburn River, turn Right into Acheron Rd, which takes you eventually into a Left turn onto Maroondah Hwy. Upon reaching Taggerty, turn Left towards Thornton and roll over a few of them thar hills. Head through Thornton and complete an anti-clockwise loop of the Pondage, taking you back into Thornton and a final belt along the GVH and up the dam wall to the finish-line.

JW19, JM17 Road Race 2 - course map & profile

A new course for the JM17's, and the inaugural JW19 category. This course immediately launches riders onto the fierce Skyline Hillclimb and along the gently rolling U.T.Creek Rd towards the Goulburn Valley Hwy. Turning left at this intersection, riders will quickly swing right onto the rocky pave of Mt Pleasant Rd, climbing to the top and turning left into Hobans Road. A fast downhill road (becoming Breakaway Rd) will find racers quickly upon the technical timber bridge crossing, over the cauldron that is the swirling Goulburn River. A right turn into Acheron Rd soon takes riders out to the Maroondah Hwy, turning left towards Taggerty. From Taggerty, it's an open, exposed, rolling ride home to a finish atop the Elldon Dam Spillway.

JW17, JM15 Road Race 2 - course map & profile

With a start in Utah Place, Eildon, this race immediately launches up the Skyline Road hill-climb. With the expansive views of the Eildon Weir at the top, riders will quickly wheel through the round-a-bout, and onto U.T.Creek Road for a long rolling ride towards Goulburn Valley Hwy. With a down-hill stretch into Thornton, it's only the rolling hills opposite the Pondage and the Eildon Dam wall which stands between a chance to stand on the podium, or not.

JW15, JG13, JB13 Road Race 2 - course map & profiles

This race will be a real challenge for these, the youngest of riders in the tour. Starting in Eildon, and heading out of town to the West, the smooth, flat Back Eildon Road could prove difficult, if there are cross-winds. Crossing the bridge into Thornton, riders will have a left turn into the Goulburn Valley Hwy, and back towards Eildon. Who will attack, and on which of the four hills, will become a thing of legend. Perhaps it will only be the final, 300m kick onto that spectacular dam wall finish-line where the winning riders will release all their energy.
